Ms. Nikki Kampouris received her B.Pharm from University of Montreal in 2009 followed by her Master’s Degree in advanced pharmaceutical care for hospital practice (M.Sc) in 2011. She has been a staff pharmacist at the Jewish General Hospital since 2009, and also serves as an associate clinician for the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Université de Montréal.
Having spent the majority of her career in the Emergency Department, she specializes in medication management in the acute setting. She has been involved in multiple projects promoting the proper use of medication and the implementation of protocols ensuring safe medication practices. She is actively involved in teaching activities and plays an active role in many hospital committees. Nikki has vast experience with anticoagulation therapy as well as its reversal as she also oversees the Antidote Program at the JGH. In March 2019, she officially joined the CETAC team and is dedicated to upholding the highest standard of patient care in the optimization of antithrombotic pharmacotherapy.
